WOW MaryAnn. You are a worker. A wonderful story of your efforts to sell the book. I thought when I was the feature writer of 5 reviewed with a color photo in the Florida Today - Sunday edition with probably over a hundred thousand readers I would sell a bunch. I got one sale for sure and maybe 3 others - though they were late. I have 30 freebies to friends, many who would ahve bought the book. I can't seem to sell a book to a friend. I gave a freebie to a man who figured prominently in a story in the book and he called me and talked with me. He is living on just SS and wished he could give 4 to his children. Later I got a check for $100 from him for 4 and I sent him 5 and returned everything to him except mailing costs. Maybe I will get some from the Invader when it comes ojut. It is mid-December and I don't have the November issue yet. Chrly.

Todd,

Thank you for your comments. I'm so sorry for your daughter's loss. If you send me a message with your address, I'd like to send a copy of my book to her. Bullying is rampant, and it must be addressed early--in elementary school--where it begins! Those who have been bullied can carry life-time scars. And punishing bullying in middle or high school doesn't take care of the problem--it is too late to save the victims! Good luck with your research. I'd be interested to follow your progress. All my PDF material is free for use by you, teachers, schools, organizations---anyone who can help. My program was presented, in August, at the American Bar Association annual meeting in Boston as a "solution" --something other programs haven't addressed. Best wishes, MaryAnn M. Butterfield

Hello, bullying has taken on a new meaning recently to me and my family. My 12 year old girl's best friend had another friend commit suicide last week because of bullying. The poor child hung herself because she was being treated so horribly. This has really bothered my daughter, as she has also been the victim of bullying in the past. She is very protective of her friends and stands up for everyone, but herself at times. I am researching some ways to come up with a program that can help with the prevention of bullying. I look forward to reading through your site to learn new and helpful things. Thanks for your efforts to shine a light on this important subject.

Hello MaryAnn, it was a true pleasure to meet you and your husband over the weekend in Western Massachusetts. Your storybook is very inspiring to me and my hopes are it is as inspiring to all young readers in America. Good luck with prompt finishing the biography you've started as I am anxiously waiting to put my hands on. Looking forward to seeing you again soon, Grace
